Opening Comment:
Why write Fan Fiction?  Hardly anyone know this about me, but I use to dabble in writing short stories when I was young. With a new computer, a rapidly growing X-Men comic book collection and time on my hands, I decided one day to try my hand at it again. It took me a while to actually pull something together that I considered decent. So I got curious. "Wonder if this story really is any good?"  That's when I decided to post my very first attempt at Fan Fiction, 'Always, His Woman'. It was a hit from day one, which shocked me. I got letters from everywhere. Readers telling me how much they like my view of their favorite characters. Wow! :-) That was five years and twenty-one (20+) stories ago. Since that time, I've learned a lot about plotting, flowing a chapter and descripting a scene. With any luck, before it's over with, I hope learn a lot more. Admittedly, it doesn't pay the bills, but I'm happy doing it. :-D
My one regret is that I didn't date my chapters for when they were initially written. At most, I tried to pin down the year they were started in. You see this date on each spoiler page under the title. :-D For some reason 2003 was the year I wrote most every thing except for the larger stories and the couple ones I've done within the past year or two. (scratching my head in puzzlement) I wonder what was going on with me back then? I know it was the year before I took ill. That may have something to do with it. Whatever it was, it fueled my imagination like 'gangbusters'.
If you would like to contact me about my stories, you can do so at lindasxmenfanfiction@gmail.com. Please bare in mind that these are my stories, not yours and that I have the right to explore the X-Men in whatever shape or form I choose. I am very protective of what I write so in essence, comments are welcome, 'flaming' is not. Thank you.
If you like any of the stories and you wish to add the story(s) to your Archive or create a link to this site, please e-mail and ask for permission. I ask this because all of the stories that have been written evolve in a splintered arch. Therefore, if you only get one, chances are it won't make sense to your readers without all of the pieces. Thank you for your cooperation.
My FanFic Addendums:
First: I would like to state that none of the stories I write ever took place in the actual X-Universe. They all are from my imagination. They depict the X-Men as I see them only. I rarely deal with combat situations. I prefer to see the X-Men as 'Human' first then Mutants. Everyone is entitled to their likes and dislikes. If this is does not appeal to you, I wholeheartedly encourage you to surf out.
Second: May I also add that all of the stories are written without my reading all of the X-Men/Uncanny X-Men comics.  I prefer it this way so that what I write comes from my brain and not Marvel's.  You may see places where I will refer to an actual Marvel event, but that will only be at times to pull parts of the story together.  In short, I don't write for Marvel, so don't expect any great parallels to their work.
Third: I would like to warn that some of the stories are not suitable for everyone to read. They may deal with the X-Men in adult, real life situations that are not appropriate for younger audiences. I have provided a Warning!!so you can link out of a page if you aren't suppose to read it. These warnings only appear at the beginning of a page or segment where the action is going to take place. If you are under the age of 18, please take heed to these warnings and leave my site immediately. Trust me, you will not hurt my feelings by doing so.
Furthermore, I've been online for quite a while now, so I know what I am talking about. If you are underage, you will not believe some of the things you can accidently surf to by mistake. Please talk to your parents about purchasing either one of the following Internet filtering software packages.
Net Nanny
SurfWatch
Cyberpatrol

Fourth: If you are looking for other Fan Fiction that concerns the Fantastic Four or Spider-Man, you're in the wrong place. I only write about the X-Men in general. Gambit and Bishop will be the constant characters in all of my stories, with  Storm, Rogue and everyone else as supporting characters. :-)
Over the years, I've had to move my fanfiction around a lot. In hopes of streamlining my site, I have converted everything to one subdirectory on www.150m.com's server. If you come to a link that is anything but drg-lm-jo.150m.com/lindasxmenfanfiction/, then it is incorrect. Please be sure to let me know what story and what chapter the broken link occurs so that I can fix it right away. Thanks for you help.
